Welcome to Oklahoma

This can´t be true right?
A woman is fully free to have an abortion, that choice is hard as it is, we all can understand that. Well, maby not all of us do. By a vote 36-12 the new horrifying ultimate disgusting (and a lot of other faul words wich I spare you from) "law" is now put on the table.

The law forces an doctor to insert an probe into a womans vagina and in words describe how the fetus looks like inside her womb. After that the abortion can be carried on. If the doctor do Not do this, he can be sued and in time loose his practise.

Lisa Billy...
Now we´re talking about one evil puppet of politician. She being a woman (??) herself should be able to understand all the pain women will be going trough when lying there and have this probe stuck inside them and getting their babys physical stats told before them. Like an evil brainwasher, intempt to scare the woman from not do an abortion, atleast that´s what I get from all this awful shit. I bet she is against porn and pro war also. I usually don´t use terms as fucking lunatic when it comes to women, but please Miss or Mrs Lisa Billy, tell me you Are joking. Please please please. If you just could understand the terror you are putting a woman trough when getting this law prohibided. If I was sad yesterday then I devestated right now.

"sooooo, you are gonna do an abortion right?
umh, yeah?
ok fine fine, ley down here so I can show this fucking probe inside you vagina and into your vomb. Then I will, shut up, this ain´t doing any harm...
Anyway as I was saying, oooh, look the babes hands...naaaaaw how cute,,, hihi he winked at me I saw it in the prombter here. Wanna see the baby in the prombter when he waves his hand? No
Oooh, sorry you where gonna do an abortion.. well now he kicks his feets... how cute, please look at it, soon I gonna kill the baby hehe....

What the fuck is wrong with this "law" anyway, short answer; EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!´

Why???????

This is No way to treath women. No way. I´m way to tired for all this.

Goodnight!!! You damb FUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, a quote from Lisa Billy “You can be what you want,” she encouraged the students.
When speaking to Eastern Oklahoma State College students.
And then the mothers, hey, they can´t be free and have a choice.
Go eat a pile of dirt and choke on it.

Now, I´m tired and really upset!

Feeling sad.

You got shit either you post a comment and supporting or if you don´t do anything.

If you post a comment then you are prejudging.
If not, then you are unloyal.

have adressed this in various posts. I Do understand that you all stand by your friends, you should. But the whole thing is going way to far. Putting death threats and all that is... I don´t even have to adress it.

That is what the internet has gone to, hey it might always been like this.

I might be recieving a lot of shit about this, some people know on what topic it is, some might not know and be glad that you Do not know.

The reactions lately has devided a lot of people in 2 sides. The reactions in the beginning has been understandable. It shows that we are humans, in all our faulths and whatever.

I do Not encurage what has happened, I simply don´t.
The good thing in the end is that you all have reacted. That atleast shows you are Not mindless robots, you do have feelings.
The bad things.. some of the things i´ve read is, scary.

If you all could have used your time for debating and showing your anger on the political and by all means the media and all the hatred it spits out at the moment, the verry world we all share might have been a better place.

But even I have jumped on the bandwaggon and i am truly ashamed of it. Not that I try to put myself in a "good spot" here, but atleast I didn´t make any threaths or shit.

I tend to come back to all the bad things happening around the world, there are some really bad things happening as you read this. Some of so scary that you probably would have to live on medication for the rest of your life if you would dare to find out.

On the other hand, you might be the mindless robot that most of the mindless media and politicians want you to be?

Or, we all just can leave it all. Left 3 forums becouse of all the shit that is going on and don´t even remember the forums name - you go figure.

Having different arguements is a sane thing to have, but never did I thought it would come down to this.

Shout hard on the net and people will like you.
Be an asshole and people will embrace you.
Don´t care about other peoples feelings and they will worship you.

Be nice and show respect for their oppinions even if you don´t agree = You Have Failed on the web. But, atleast you have my respect.

This ain´t funny no more, in fact it never was.

Otoshimono

Litterly translated to Lost property. The title is fitting to the story, more on that later on.
Otoshimono is however the title of the 2006 japanese horror movie named Ghost train in the western part of the world.

Erika Sawajiri plays Nana, an high school girl whos little sister, Noriko, has gone missing in the subway tunnels. Noriko have just like Takashii, an 10 year old boy, picked up an lost passport in the subway.
Takashii and Noriko have encountered a ghost/spirit who repititly says; Give it back, give it back.

Not only is Otoshimono a great scary visual ghost story, it also has some other elements to it. The word Ghost train ( a spiritual entity), is a ”paranormal phenomenon describing phantom trains”, so to put this story in this environment, a subway tunnel, is a smart idea.

You also have to clearly looking for details in this to get the whole story. As for the number 507 on the train when Nana goes to locate her sister, the numbers is indeed Not a coincidence. In japanese the numbers 5 and 7 is pronounced as ”Go” and ”Nana”. Someone clearly doesn´t want Nana to go where she is going. Coincidences you might think?

To understand this perfectly, you need to understand that the japanese do believe that ghosts and spirits exists. You may not believe in it/them (the ghosts) yourself, but it surely helps to get more out of the japanese horror movies or horror stories in general.
Also the ending is something that wouldn´t have been made as it is in any other country then in Japan. Without giving to much away, this is my take on why it ended as it did.
The repeatatly building of tunnels, you have to dig deep in the earth and by shintoism doctrine the earth more or less is the spirit and the main entity to worship.

Not only this can be seen in the ending, also it can be seen in the phile of human bodies that have been lost along the subway rail and its tracks.
The satanic symbol that appears on the faces of the missing persons photos, a clear hint to what director/screenwriter Takeshi Furusawa wanna say.
Also, as stated in the beginning of this text Otoshimono means Lost property.
Yaeko, the spirit that lurks in the subway system has been exposed to a crime when she was a human and now tries to avenge the wrongs done to her. As in many ghost stories a special object is used to help the spirit/ghost get in touch with the normal living world.
In Otoshimono it is not only a train ticket it is also a bracalet that Anema is given to by her boyfriend. Anema recievs it with the lie that Shigeru (the boyfriend) has purchased it after some part time work, this surely upsets Yaeko.
Yaeko gets her revenge - Give it back, give it back.

As much as it is a ghost story about revengefull ghosts, Otoshimono is in some parts a sad story wich most of these japanese horror movies are. The ghosts are not 100% evil, they have a reason for their evil doing.
Ghost stories told the japanese way may not fit everyone becouse of these terms; no one is completely evil.
We who do know and understand this, we like movies like this more and appriciate them better.
Obsession and the will and hunger for possesing things (material needs) may bring a downfall for you, in one way or another.

The only complain I have is the use of CGI effects.

In some scenes it works, but overall it looks bad, really bad to be honest. However, that is not something that should keep you from avoiding this movie.

So if haven´t allready, get Otoshimono.

Let´s kill everyone

Yeah let´s do it....

There are some controvercy on the net, yeah there always is.. sometimes i feel like pulling out the damn cord and sell my computer completely.

This time there are something about some radicals that threathens to kill the creators of South park. Atleast that was what the media says. After some comments on the web about the whole thing?
Well here is what I got.

1. Nuke the middle east!!
2. If they get so angry by this, then I hope they all die (meaning the muslims)
3. Go USA!!!!

All these comments are, basicly.. I shouldn´t even need to mentioning it really, but I do it anyway.

1. So, someone gets offended by a cartoon and wants to kill the creators of the cartoon. Ok, so you then get so offended by that so you more or less feel comfortable that about 340.000.000 people should be nuked?
Or wait a minute..or two, maby it all depends on where in the middle east you sick freak wanna nuke?

2. So, this then means you are a tolerant guy? Wanting all these to die? Wake up and read your comment you posted.

3. Yeah.. sure. The usa (or worse, the government) have threatened to use nuclear on North Korea, Iran, Syria and .. no wait, that was Bush who said that... hoops my bad.

And to those who threats to kill creators of a carton. Don´t waist your time, don´t make fools out of yourself. Enough blood have been spilled allready.

Or to quote Momo " Peace is not a word, it will be reality."

Suspiria

lalalalalalala lalalalalalaaa

We who have seen the movie, we still got the chills over that, lalalalalalala.

The tagline to the movie is " The Only Thing More Terrifying Than The Last 12 Minutes Of This Film Are The First 92. "

So is this The Masterpiece? The ultimate horror?
It´s a masterpiece, but Not the ultimate horror.

First things first.
It doesn´t really have anything to do with the movie, in some case it has, nevertheless here goes.
Some scenes, or the dialogue, they speak so silent that I couldn´t hear what they wear saying. Turning up the volume didn´t help since I´m almoust deaf on one ear.
Normally I would have been upset and probably stoped watching this movie, but in Suspiria it actually helps and adds to the story. Atleast for me.
I got this feeling that I know as little as the main character; Suzy Bannion played by Jessica Harper.
She has allready arrived in Germany to attend an famous ballett school. Shortly after a young female at the school gets killed in an old Dario Argento fashion style. So Suspiria gets you almoust at once.

And as for the old italian horror genre, the title music once in a while enters the movie...and what a horrifying tune this is. The masters of Goblin, pure genius.

The acting is, well, sometimes a bit cheesy I guess you can call it..? It´s to be honest not the best acting I´ve seen in a Argento movie, but who cares really when the atmosphere, music and the use of colours are so much better then any horrormovie before this. At least when the three (atmosphere, colours and music) are put together as one dynamic nightmare, Suspiria is the masterpiece that all say it is.

Suspiria is the mystery about witchcraft and are the first in a trilogy, the second is Inferno (wich is a semi sequal) and the third is La terza madre (Mothers of tears) or, as it is called in Japan; Suspiria Terza.

It also has a scene/character that the great Lucio Fulci did an homage to, the blind man (or as in Fulcis L'aldilà - The beyond, it was a blind woman) who has a German shepherd who helps him..and since this is a horror, the dog also bites his troath off (or hers as in L'aldilà).

As if it was necassary, two creepy characters are in Suspiria also. Pavlo (played by Giuseppe Transocchi) he doesn´t say much and that´s what so creepy about him besides that he reminds me of Jaws from the 007 franchise. Miss Tanner (played by Alida Valli) is a strict creepy old witch (you could call her a bitch, but that would be wrong, she might cast a spell on me), anyway, she is creepy and I also think that her character got an homage from Frau Blücher (Cloris Leachman) in Mel Brooks comedy - Young Frankenstein.

Suspiria is, as you can understand, a masterpice that for the time and even today still inspire horror directors or directors in film generally.

"Who is it? Who's there? Ah, I've been expecting you! The American girl! I knew you'd come. You want to kill me! You want to kill Helena Markos!"

This is how the world ends

Not in a solid boom, but whit a silence.

The picture is Not from a CGI movie about the ending days, not leaked photos from Independence day 2 (they actually are in progress of doing a sequal to that Will Smith blockbuster)
The picture is from the volcanic eruption on Iceland.
Here in a country aproximently 1.000 kilometers away, we see some of the clouds from the eruption. Can you understand that people?
It looks like normal clouds at first, but after some "amateurish" eyes looking at these clouds, I can honestly say (or in this case write) that I never seen anything like this.

So, is this the end of the world?

In aproximently 5 months an election will take place here.
A big change may come, the today semi wannabe fascist government may win - again, they even might co-work with a racist party; a party that blame Everything, and I mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G on the muslims. Absolutely Everything is the muslims faulths. If a woman brakes her leg after falling down some stairs, woooooow - it gotta be the muslims faulths. That is how these "people" act and try to manipulate the people here.
So the semi wannabe fascist govornment may win and colaburate with a hatefull anti islamic party. Sure we (the people) have seen this before, some of us wasn´t borned at that time, you know, in 1930s... you know exactly what.

Have we learned Anything?
Will we learn anything this time either?

It is like saying that the volcano eruption on Iceland is a terrorist attack from the earth itself. Mankind have terrorised and raped the earth however for far to long and the earth do kick back sometimes.

On the other hand, the time it took you to read this aproximently 100.000 children have starved to death on the verry same planet you are living on.
You didn´t hear their cry, their sorrow, maby you should be glad that you didn´t.

Maby the silence is a good thing after all.

An American Crime

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0802948/
Sylvia (Ellen Page) and her sister Jennie ( Hayley MacFarland) is living with Gertrude (Catherine Keener) and her 6 children after their parents have gone on a roadtrip with an cirkus/tivoli.
Jennie and Sylvia seems to get along with all the children, the have pillowfights, do make up on eachother (mostly hair) before going out and meeting some of the boys.

Jennie and Sylvia

The whole situation soon enough turns from an idyllic time of innocent to a nightmare, for Sylvia. And Gertrude, she only wanna punish poor Sylvia…

An american crime is based on the controversial torture and death of Sylvia Likens.
Those of you who have seen the movie; “the based on story” Robert Ketchum´s The girl next door, wich is reviewed here, might wanna see this. The rest of you should also see An american crime.

What is the difference between AAC (AN american crime) and TGND (The girl next door)?
TGND is told from the boy Davids side and have more about the torture and pain, AAC is told from the actual court case. The prosecutor asks questions and then the story goes along so to speak. Personally I am not a fan of court reletad movies, but since they spend so little time there, 2-3 minutes at max, AAC gives an interresting comparison to TGND. Do not expect a gutpunch like TGND is. Sure AAC is brutal, the most violence is happening outside the screen tough.

Sylvia being tortured

The acting of Catherine and Ellen is great. The children is not so much involved in this as in TGND. This is a battle between Sylvia and Gertrude, Ellen Page also narrates this movie.

Alltough AAC is a good movie and a sad one about the horrific case, it is a movie you not have to buy. A definitive watch for sure.
More a drama then the psychological rape that TGND is.
On the other hand, AAC might work better for you then TGND does.

Haute tension

also known as Switchblade romance or High tension
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338095/
Marie (Cécile De France)

and her friend Alexia (Maïwenn Le Besco) is heading home to Alexias parental home to study. At home, Marie and Alexia is welcomed by the father (Andrei Finti) and Alexias little brother Tom ( Marco Claudiu Pascu ), the mother ( Oana Pellea ) has allready gone to bed.
Marie asks Alexia to follow her outside for a smoke later that night and while walking outside a surge noice is approicing while Marie watches Alexia, naked, taking a shower…

Later while Marie gets in bed, fully clothed I should mention, an old van drives up to the house.. The driver of the van is turned on by Alexia in a sexual creepy way…

Alexandre Aja (also directed) and Grégory Levasseur has written an impressive horror script that involves kidnapping, a chained up girl - while being gagged by a big plastic tool,

suffocation with plastic,

a blow job from a severed head (?!!) and as the cover reveals; a big wood stick covered in barb wire.
Now, as much as you can use your imagination by these premises, you also get a female masturbation scene (while a song ”Just another girl” is played).

The violence and excitement (I could have used the word tension here) are much more real and unreal then in many other recent horror movies. Yes there is blood, a lot of it to be honest but the blood is somehow justified as well as the violence in haute tension.
Haute tension was the start of the new wave of french horror that has swept over the world for the last 7-8 years (alltough it is shot in Rumania - due to expensive costs, as did ils a.k.a. Them).
It is hard not to mention the other french horror films when you should just talk about one of them.
For personal reference if nothing else, Haute tension was the first, was followed by Ils, À l'intérieur, Frontiére(s) and Martyrs. The last three of them will without any doubts go down in history, for various reasons, as classics - True classics.
Haute tension is up there with them for sure.
It mixes the slasher mentality, psychological horror/thriller with lot of gore and great performance by Cécile and Maïwenn.

Aja (the director) later on did two american horror movies, both are reviewed here ; P2 and The hills have eyes 2, so you know you gonna get some real horror and no PG13. Aja is also shooting Pirahna 3D.

So, without giving to much away of what happens lets talk about our leading actress, Cécile De France an belgian actress who most notable apperence had been short films, comedies or drama. She did most of her stunts and trained with a Thai boxer to get in perfect condition for her role as Marie, an remarcable transformation and accievement.
Also Maïwenn, as she is credited in this movie, has a interresting background. The director Alexandre Aja discovered her as she was performing an stand up comedy rutine.
They are both phenomenal in their roles.

Haute tension is a horror movie for the true fans, made a fan and either you are into women being kidnapped or not (in movies) this is the one to get. Highly recomended.

Cani arrabbiati

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071275/
4 small thiefs has just commited a robbery in Rome, Italy. It is a hot day and
on hot days when the police is chasing you, you do what you have to do to get
away.

Bisturi (Blade)

played by Riccardo Rovatti looks like a young and thinner
Sylvester Stallone as he looked in the first Rambo.
His partners in crime Trentadue (Thirtytwo) played by Gabriele Duma

and Dottore (Doctor) played by
Renato Cecchetto takes Maria (Lea Lander) as their hostage and flees the city.

They have different personalitys and that is what makes this such an enjoyable
ride.
Blade is the violent one(director Mario Bava even uses the metaphore of a
flipper game to show his anger), Doctor (as the name suggests) is the
mastermind. Thirtytwo, he is more or less the horny bearded freak giving his
hostage some memorable quotes.
- The mayonnaise all over your tits. I´ll make them shiny like mirrors -

Beside the great story and quotes from thirtytwo, Mario Bava who directed this
old proper italian grindhouse movie, rabid dogs also contains some of the old
classic italian trademarks such as fake blood (red paint), great score that
every know and then eneters some scenes, and the intense eyes (they use a lot of
zooming into the eyes).

Rabid dogs could easily have worked as good set in an apartment as it does in
the car, the claustrofobic nature and horror is still there.
… on the other hand, if this would have been taken place in an apartment or
house, they surely wouldn´t have met Maria Sbravati (Maria Fabbri) who most
surely is the most annoying female ever in a movie.

Don´t expect an movie with naked or semi naked women being tied up or raped,
alltough it has scenes that give hints to sexual assualt.
Rabid dogs is a movie that doesn´t end untill the last scene is finished. You
who have seen it know exactly what I mean.

To make this short, Rabid dogs is a movie you atleast have to watch.

Ils

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465203/

Clémentine (Olivia Bonamy) is a french teacher in Rumania. She lives with Lucas, (Michaël Cohen) who is a writer, out in the countryside in this big house.
When heading home after afriday at work, Clémentine passes by a car that are being tolltrucked. The same car where a mom and her daughter has been killed in last night.

While at home she eats a dinner with Lucas and goes to bed, later that night she wakes up by some noices outsider their house, soon the noice and the ones who causes the noice are inside their house.

Ils a.k.a. Them is based on a terrifying true story about what happened to Clémentine Sauveur and Lucas Medvec. David Moreau and Xavier Palud have written and directed a lowbudget movie that was shot in 30 days.
Now movies based on actuall events can either be rally scary or they tend to be mediocer or even dumb. Also when a movie is shot in only 30 days, you might suspect that this might not be as good as you are hoping for.

The lack of blood or indirect violence also may be something that doesn´t make you wanna see ils. But, the tense - mostly to the fact that the attackers are not in the movie as much as in other horror movies makes ils a scary and intense movie. As long as you are fully aware that this is as much a first directed movie by David Moreau and
Xavier Palud as it is a sad story about what people are doing to eachother. The final shot/scene of this movie shows in some way that people sometimes can be lackning a lot of sympati for various reasons.

On the other hand, Clémentine is forced to inhale something from a plastic bag (wich I instantly was thinking - it´s glue so she will be dizzy) maby the attackers where high on sniffing glue all the time?

It is a sad sad world we live in when young people are…..

Also, I got the feeling of watching Blair witch project as I saw ils. The running in the woods and that crazy annoying sound that one of the kids makes with his toy.

So, is ils a.k.a. Them a movie that you need to see?
Maby not needed to be seen, but it is a good solid watch and it is only in 74 minutes.

Olivia Bonamy and Michaël Cohen are doing a good solid work in their roles.
Ils can be seen as a perfect (?) date movie with your girlfriend or boyfriend, ”your lover” in simplifying terms. Not so violent, not so much blood, 2 good looking acters and a tense that starts 23 minutes in the movie and last for the following 50 minutes.
Another impressive thing about ils is that it is acted out in real time, more or less.

Eskwad is the co producer of this movie. And Eskwad also is behind movies such as Irrèversible, Le pacte des loups a.k.a. Brotherhood of the wolf, Saint Ange a.k.a. House of voices wich actually was the first movie Pascal Laugier directed and later on he did Martyrs - who also is produced by Eskwad. So next time Eskwad is doing a movie… I wanna play with them.

À l'intérieur

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0856288/
Sarah (Alysson Paradis) is spending her night at home, the day before christmas, tomorrow she is about to give birth to her baby.
She is all alone since the father of the child has recently died in a car crash. A car crash that Sarah was in on to.
Sarah has worked as a photographer and her boss says she is missed at her work since all the reporters are idiots.
Her boss, Jean-Pierre (François-Régis Marchasson) gives Sarah a lift home after her last visit at the hospital. Her doctor sends her home with the words; - Enjoy your last night in peace and quiet.

At home, later that night a scary lady rings on her door, claiming she knows her name and that Sarah is gonna soon give birth..

À l'intérieur, written and directed by Alexandre Bustillo and co directed with Julien Maury has created a visual and so creepy, but still extremly violent and horrifying movie.
It is not only a extreme horror movie, the way they use the low greyish colour in some scenes are works of pure genius. You will understand when you see it. Key scene to look after is when Sarah wakes up in her sofa by the tv.

Some scenes are more or less like a sculpture out from a ghost haunted picture, a japanese ghost movie if you so will.
The thing with À l'intérieur is that it clearly knows about it and uses it to perfection.

Beside all the tense, blood, make up effects, the colour (the grey, smoke like environment in the house) À l'intérieur is Béatrice Dalle´s movie as La femme.
She uses so little to be scary as hell, just her presente is enough to give anyone chills. Those of you who have seen Anthony Hopkins as Dr Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the lambs (as an example) knows that less is more, on the other hand - the make up department with Alexis Kinebanyan, Jacques-Olivier Molon, Pierre Olivier Persin, Pierre-Olivier Thevenin and Sabine Fevre to name a few doesn´t play by those rules.

Also, the use of music and sound effects is something that is quite outstanding.

À l'intérieur, is, together with other french new wave of horror such as Martyrs, Frontiére(s), Haute tension, Ils and Sheitan are movies you simply must

Frontière(s)

a.k.a. Frontier(s)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0814685/
Yasmine (Karina Testa) is 3 months pregnant with her ex boyfriend Alex (Aurélien Wiik), they try to flee the streets of Paris together with their friends since the city has turned into chaos.
The chaos has much to do with an election that has made a right wing winning the president post, or as Tom (David Saracino) says to Farid (Chems Dahmani) - Fascist country. I told you that France was ten years behind the USA. Here it comes - finally we have our George Bush.

Tom and Farid makes it to an Inn out in the french countryside. Soon Yasmine and Alex will join them. What they don´t know is that they have fled from one problem to a much bigger and scarier thing - namely an inbreed Neo Nazi family….

As much as Frontière(s) is a french homage to Texas chainsaw massacre at some points it is verry hard, or maby yet impossible Not to put it in the time frame we live in today - or - a scary violent future that put it´s sick twisted layer across europé Thess days.
Xavier Gens - writer and director - surely used the autentic frustration after the real shooting of a 11 year old boy in 2005, read more belov.

Frontière(s) has been mixed up and put in the same cathegory as a lot of TP movies (Torture porn) such as Martyrs (since it´s french), Saw and Hostel. It is unfair, since Xavier Gens movie is as much as it is a horror movie also can be seen as a time documentary of our troubled times.
Sure it uses referenches such as Texas chainsaw massacre it also references, as said, to the nazis and their sadistic hatred against muslims, the inbreed family hold names such as Hans, Karl, Von Geisler and Goetz.

Goetz

Xavier Gens doesn´t exactly hold back when it comes to the gore and blood.

Yasmine and a lot of blood

So if you wanna witness a brutal, sadistic future (?) from europe, or atleast what may come, get Frontière(s) now.
Or you simply can´t avoid the new french revolution.

Goetz - Well, well, well, you're not doing badly for yourselves! At least you're not gay.

Von Geisler - Hang them up! And skin the fat off of them.

In the midst of a tense period and following a shooting that killed an 11-year-old boy in the banlieue (suburb) of La Courneuve in June 2005, Sarkozy quoted a local resident and vowed to clean the area out "with a Kärcher" (nettoyer la cité au Kärcher, referring to a well-known German brand of pressure cleaning equipment), and two days before the 2005 Paris riots he referred to the criminal youth of the housing projects as voyous (thugs) and racaille, a slang term which can be translated into English as rabble, scum or riff-raff;[94] this was criticised as being inappropriate language by the French Communist Party's L'Humanité.[95]”
