It´s a game, haha. It´s actually a fun game when you start it. No instructions needed here. Pick your name, do some dirty work, buy some weapon and fight with others to get cash. With the cash you later on can buy cars, facilyties, houses, resteurants etc. All takes place on the menu, so no violence is seen. Sounds really utterly boring, but I liked it and you also climbs fast in this game.

But judging by the trailer and knowing it´s Tim Burton who are the director of it, this have to be great..or?

I wonder however if this movie is gonna be as good as Tideland, who infact are a "rip off" (if you wanna be mean) to the Alice in wonderland tale, but as far as I´m concerned Tideland is an cinemathic masterpice, but what can you expect when Terry Gilliam writes and direct?

Letter looses always

Yesterday I talked to someone about having things all over the apartment floor, like comicmagazines and dvd´s. So, some minutes ago I tought "why not clean that up?" So I did...or, I tried to.

This might sound like the apartment is in a total mess, it isn´t.

Anyway, grabbed some magazines and out came an letter from the pile of magazines (all numbers of Taboo Illustrated, so now no one needs to ask) the letter by some odd reason wasn´t opened. That´s ok right?
If I say the letter was dated April ..... 2005?
Lucky me it was nothing special/important.... at least I hope so, becouse it´s still sealed.

The magazines was moved a bit tough.

Damn I can´t get that movie out of my head. A masterpiece to say the least.

Waist deep

O2 is trying really hard to leave his past behind him. Sometimes the past tough won´t let you go so easy. All that matters to him is his son and since he has promised him he will come back for him, well O2 is a man of his words.
So who is dumb enough to take his car? And his son at the same time? Theese motherf***ers gotta pay..

Some might see this as a hip hop version of Bonnie and Clyde and the funny thing a clerk in the movie also says "You´re like the modern Bonnie and Clyde"...yeah we saw that one coming allright. Most of the time you as a moviefan know what´s gonna happen next. But the way the director put all this together, I think it´s working out fine as a hole.

Alltough this movie is a bit cliche on the gangster/street movies we allready have seen before like Boyz n the hood, Menace II Society, New Jack city and Gridlock'd. Waist deep kind of makes it on it´s own.

The acting is good all over, you know theese are all talanted and when afro americans do get to play in movies like this; you ain´t gonna get dissapointed.
I can´t say I´m much of a hip hop rap music fan, I sure can appriciate the music - believe me I can and the soundtrack to this movie is a good mix of hard beats, tough gangsta rap (is that how you say it?) and more soft Rnb.

If you allready haven´t checked this one out, do yourself a favour and watch it.
And for all you boys out there; Meagan Good is Good.

The Death and Life of Bobby Z

Paul Walker is an looser, no not really, but his character is. A legend named Bobby Z has died so now the DEA has to replace Tim Kerney (Walker) for Bobby Z. The only problem, ok, the biggest problem is Bobby Z was a legend selling drugs. So now a lot of people wanna see the new Bobby dead.

I have seen Paul Walker in three movies now recently; Into the blue, Lazarus project and now this. He does his job well in all thoose movies. The Death and Life of Bobby Z is however an mixture between the Bourne trilogy (Matt Damon). Not that the script is as complpexe as thoose, but knowing that the main character knows more or less nothing about the situation he´s thrown into. And the action/fighting scenes are somewhat familiar to what Jason Bourne is doing.

But as in the Bourne trilogy the character is more or less all over the world, Tim Kerney mostly is in south California or Northern part of Mexico. I think this movie is worth to watch. Rent before you buy.

Joaquim de Almeida has an great appereance as Don Huertero; the great Mexican druglord, you might remember him from Desperado where he played Bucho. If you haven´t, you should watch that movie.

Yeah, some really worthless comicwriters are gonna get it now.
Seriously now, how can some even dare to show some of the stuff that they do and then ask you to pay for reading their comics?
I have a lot of issues, I know that, but in this country there are so many really really worthless comicwriters and they all can sell their stuff. what the hell is wrong with people?

Well since that big big movie spectacle called 2012, are coming soon in theaters November 13...this year actually.
Anyway.

I can´t say I studied this Mayan propecy that much, I know however how the words goes in some point.

But what I find interesting in this, IF it gonna happens. How would you react? Seriously now. You have just x amounts of days left then you either get smashed by an gigantic tide of wave (Tsunami), hit by an flying object (choose whatever fits your imagination here), burning up becouse of the heat or an vulcano outburst.
How would you live your last days? Would you care?
Would you go on a rampage with the attitude "I´m gonna die anyway so fuck it!!"
Well, newsflash, you ain´t gonna die. You will however, either you belive in this 2012 thing or not, you will fall asleep - into the great big sleep.
So, if you choose to "go on a rampage" if/when this planet Nibiru comes into our solarsystem, what makes you not do all theese things right now?

Let´s say that you want to kill someone if that Nibiru comes here and you, by some odd reason, knows that in 3 weeks time all will be gone. Then one might wonder, if you do by then have thoose toughts, you sure have them now also , but you don´t do it?

This movie is based on a videogame, and since I don´t have the time really to play new games I haven´t heard about this before. So, I knew nothing about this when started to watching it 2 hours ago.
Aya, played by Eri Otoguro (whom also was in the amazing and funny Shôrin shôjô - Shaolin girl), lives in Japan where a mad doctor have turned dead to living. Aya doesn´t say much, she don´t have to becouse she has a katana sword that do the talking.
Her only companion is Katsuji (played by Tomohiro Waki) he on the other hand do a lot of talking, and running..and screaming.

This movie is, for me a big fan of japanese movies, a really good flick. Yes it´s lowbudget - poor cgi effects, but it enjoyable and even the zombiegirls are cute.
Since I haven´t played the game I can´t say for sure, but my guess is that one character is a tribute to Chiaki Kuriyama´s role as Gogo Yubari in kill bill.
When you see Oneechanbara I think you will understand.
So yes I do really think you should watch this one. Maby not buy it at once, but at least watch it.

The action scenes are really great. I won´t tell so much about it, but theese two I have to write about.
Aya in high heels jumps up, with one zombie on each side of her, she do a split in the air and penetrate the skulls of the zombies with her high heels...litterary being stuck like that for some seconds before she kicks them away and continue the killing of more zombies.

The other scene is filmed from above, yet again Aya chops down zombies. This time however the heads fly up to the camera and down again..and there are a lot of zombies.



And you gotta love movies where a shot-gun has as many rounds in it as Reiko´s has.
might be the best adoptation from videogame to movie, of all time alltough I haven´t played the game.

Wooow I slept for 2 hours...

Went out to have a smoke, some minutes ago and there was 3 girls walking by, usually I don´t talk to people, I am shy - believe it or not.
But I saw them and said "wow, triplings" with a smile. They all gave me the exact same look...then I understood that I was seeing triple. There was only one girl walking by.

What can I say, I´m loosing it..

Haven´t slept in 3 days now, if I can´t fall asleep now... I´m worried that I have to do something drastic. Whatever that may be...

Yesterday, 4th of july was an hectic day by any standard. I had the time to draw 3 pages on various comix, watch 2 movies. Write some on various forums. Go to the store and buy some food (yeah yeah I do eat sometimes) and then looking at the clock and noticed I have turned 34 years.

So....does that makes me bigger then jesus Christ and Bruce Lee? They bought fell asleep when they where 33 didn´t they?

Hoping to reach 40 now, when I still am around that is.

I have just found this page where it says that 8 Disney good girls gone bad. By bad meaning that they have posed in minimal or no clothing at all.
Before I checked the names out I honestly only could name theese; Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Curys, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears. I got to admit also that I do not follow the Disney company, I do read and watch other types of comic/movies, but you allready knew that didn´t you?

My guess is this; theese girls isn´t allowed to be girls. As long as they are under contract the disney mafia tell them how to act, behave and so on. And when they finally (?) brake loose, they do it all the way.

It is better the less one knows about this movie.
It has been claimed to be a TP movie (torture porn) as Saw and Hostel, whom by the way are inspired by the japanese cult trilogy Shiryo no wana - named Evil dead trap in the west.
Martyrs however, is Not an TP movie.
It has more to offer, the director/screenwriter Pascal Laugier dares to ask the questions that I haven´t seen any modern director have had the guts to do.

This is no ordinary horror/splatter movie with scenes where a person say "Now I get my knife and cut you, for a long long time" or scenes close to that.
Martyrs takes you on a journey that begins as an ordinary revenge movie, twists into something completly different - and then leaves you, empty, broken and missarable.



So, one might wonder; why?
The question is why.
Thoose who have seen this knows what I mean, the rest of you, I hope you will find out.




The acting is really really good. And alltough the two girls are a mess, physicly and mentaly, they are really good looking.




I have no problem what so ever to confess that I felt ill, sick for watching this but since the script is so realistic and close to life I had to find out how it would end, hoping that they would make it, if they did? I guess you have to take that journey yourself.

As much as this is a, in my book, a "F*** You* to the rest of the horror genre it also dares to ask questions about religion, humanity and facing our own demons. Or as Lucie says to Anna "Maby you should let go Anna?" In the beginning, a filmcrew goes to the place where Lucie has been held, one of the doctors then turns around to the camera and say "She wasn´t raped, we know that at least." So what did happen? Do you dare to find out? Thoose who have seen Irreversible´- the gaspar Noe´movie where monica Belluci gets analraped, you think you know what to expect, believe me, you have no idea.
