Junen saki mo Kimi nikoishite

Finally it´s been settled; Aya Ueto, the famous singer and actress, is gonna star in the new NHK serie. It will start to air at August 31 in Japan.
Aya, to date, maby most known in the western part of the world for her performance as Azumi in the japanese action/samurai drama Azumi and Azumi 2:Death and love.

I´m really looking forward to the DVD boxset of this serie. However I have doubts on that it will not be aviable for release here, so as usual import is the way to get it.




In Junen saki mo Kimi nikoishite Aya plays Rika, a 26 year single who through time travels can see herself as she will be 10 years later.

NHK ( Nihon Hōsō Kyōkai translated to "Japans chief voice" or "Japans leading voice") is the public service chanel of Japan.

Azumi is a character, based on Yu Koyama´s 48 volume manga wich was first published in 1994 and is still going on. The live action movie, with a 17th year young Aya Ueto, was made in 2003 and is highly recomended.
