Vive la resistance

Kiruna, sweden. December 9 1969.

The men on the picture walks an demonstration march. On the first poster you see the swedish sentence "Vi är ej maskiner" - translated to english it is "We are not machines".

The strike for the miners in Kiruna started december 9 1969 and ended in february 4th 1970.
The strike was, no surprise here, illigeal ("thanks" you fockers who criminalize this). But, the miners recieved 6 millions in swedish krones from people all over sweden for support.

What they recieved by the strike?
A new law; Law of job (employment) security. Wich hadn´t existed before (the new law was functional from 1975).

So to all of you who did this strike. Thank You.
We all in debt for your stand. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

Remember; You are Not a machine.

Also important to listen to.
