We´re strong and free

That was what he said during the ceremony that was held last night at the opening of the 2010 winter olympic games in Vancouver canada.

The speach was somehow a remark to the US and their lack of human policy. But let´s take a closer look on the “free” thing of the canadian history.

Any of these sounds familiar?

Passamaquoddy?
Puntlatsh?
Kutchin?
Kutenai?
Kwakiutl?
Tatsanottine? (Also named Scum… or Scum of water)
Tsattine?
Crow?
Cree?

Maybe the Cherokee cry
But we wanted their land
So they had to die"
